Ten
Big frogs
Little Zayn went
to the school
and his bag
was rather full.
In his bag
were ten big frogs
and his lunch
of two hot dogs.
He knew it
would be real fun
when all
frogs would jump and run.
He would eat
his two hot dogs
every one would scream at frogs.

An elephant wished
he could fly
He wanted to reach
the deep blue sky
He ran to a pigeon
he couldn’t wait
He woke up the pigeon
who slept till eight
“Sir, I wish
I could also fly
I wish I could
go up high and high
I know you are
truly a great flier
And you are quick
and quite clever
Please help me
and give me a tip or two
Please I want to fly
just like you”
Pigeon was awake
but half asleep
His heart thumped
and it took a leap
He looked at the elephant
and quietly pondered
What could he say
that he wondered
His words would surely
cause dismay
Very politely then
he began to say
“Sir, it’s my wings
that help me fly
Wings flutter
and I fly”
Elephant was surely
and surely dismayed
He had no wings
that could come to his aid
He looked at the sky
and let out a grunt
He thanked the pigeon
for not being blunt
“Sir, I am happy
as I am
For there is no one here
as powerful as I am.”

Dental
Care
Perched on trees
near the swamps,
little plovers
await
crocs from swamps.
Crocs are
swimming
in muddy
waters,
they hunt the fish
and tasty turtles.
Crocs return when
their
bellies are full,
crocs relax
with
their bellies full.
Crocs recline
and
love the mild sun,
every croc has
his
mouth wide open.
Their teeth are
dirty
and need a clean,
bits of meat are
stuck in
between.
Little
plovers
jump and bob,
into big mouths
they boldly hop.
They pick the
pieces
stuck in upper
teeth,
and even in teeth
that are
underneath.
Crocs are
happy
they get a dental care,
little plovers
enjoy
a healthy
fare.

Hungry
Dog
A hungry dog
found
a meaty
bone,
and he
wanted to enjoy
it all
alone.
But his
friends
were already
there,
and they
gave him
a dirty stare.
They were
angry
and for a
reason,
they had
shared meals
all through season.
They glared
and
bared their
fangs,
and they
were really
a nasty
gang.
Hungry dog tried
to sneak
away,
but, alas,
that day
was not his
day.
He chose to beat
a hasty
retreat,
and with
friends
he shared
his treat.

The Flying Fish
A flying
fish
looked at the
sky,
there was an
eagle
flying high.
The flying
fish
loved to
fly,
it jumped
out of the sea
and aimed
for the sky.
The flying
eagle
looked at
the sea,
one flying
fish
he could see.
The flying
eagle
dived from the sky
to catch the silly fish
aiming for the sky.
The flying
fish
looked at
the sky,
there was an eagle
diving from
the sky.
The flying
fish
turned its
tail
and reached the
sea
hearty and
hale.
The flying
fish
uttered a
sigh
and never
again
aimed for
the sky.
